The story of Wallace & Wallace is a story of leadership and success. Three generations of the Wallace family have been involved in property management since 1936. Wallace & Wallace, Inc. has grown to become the premiere property management organization in Knox County and the surrounding areas. The prestige behind the Wallace & Wallace name can be traced to decades of hard work, beginning with Charles A. Wallace and his father, James A. Wallace, Sr.. With the Great Depression, the Wallaces began their company by leasing and managing foreclosed properties. After WWII, J.A. Wallace, Jr. joined the firm and for the next forty years the company was operated by two brothers who specialized in property management, insurance and real estate sales. Wallace & Wallace, Inc. was founded on a commitment of professionalism and customer service that continues to be the core of its business philosophy today.
In 1974, James "Jim" A. Wallace, son of the late J.A. Wallace, Jr., joined the firm and spent years strengthening and promoting property management and sales of quality homes in prestigious neighborhoods.
Jim's brother, George C. Wallace, joined the firm in 1984, and along with Charles Wallace worked together managing both residential homes and commercial properties, along with the real estate side of the business. known as Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace. Using high business standards, the trio worked diligently establishing the firm as a leader in the Knoxville and surrounding areas.
